This DIGITUS cable has a U/UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) construction, which means the four wire pairs are twisted but have no additional shielding. The 1:1 connection ensures that both RJ45 connectors have the same pin layout.

The cable has red RJ45 plugs, which can be useful for colour coding in your network. The boots around the plugs provide strain relief and protection against kinking. The sheath is LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen).
