When do you need a short network cable?
An S/FTP network cable of 0.25 metres is used for short distances within your network equipment. This length is ideal for connections within server cabinets, between switches and routers, or as a patch connection between devices that are close together. The short length ensures a tidy setup without excess cable length.

Why choose S/FTP shielding?
This DIGITUS cable features S/FTP shielding that keeps out interference from other electronic devices. This is particularly important in environments with heavy network traffic or where reliable data transmission is crucial.

Durable construction with practical details
The cable has RJ45 connectors with boot protection and strain relief, which significantly extends its service life. The latch protection prevents the connectors from being unintentionally disconnected. The LSZH cable sheath produces less smoke and toxic gases when heated, which benefits safety in office environments.

Practical installation tip
When connecting, pay attention to the 1:1 pin assignment – this means both ends are wired identically according to the T568A or T568B standard.
