When do you need an S/FTP network cable?
An S/FTP network cable is what you use when you want to connect your devices reliably to your network. This cable is suitable for connecting computers, printers, switches or other network equipment to your router or network switch. At 3 metres in length, you have sufficient reach for most office and home situations.

Why choose the shielded S/FTP version?
The S/FTP shielding protects your network connection against interference from other electrical devices nearby. This is especially important in office environments where there is a lot of equipment that can cause electromagnetic interference. The shielded version provides a more stable connection than standard UTP cables.

Durable construction with protective features
This DIGITUS cable has RJ45 connectors with rasthebelschutz (latch protection) and knickschutz (kink protection). These features prevent the cable from being damaged when plugging and unplugging or when routing it around corners. The LSZH sheath ensures that, in the event of a fire, fewer toxic fumes are released than with ordinary PVC cables.

Practical installation tip
The belegung 1:1 means that all eight wires are connected straight through, which is standard for modern network equipment. The blue colour helps you identify and organise your network connections in an environment with multiple cables.
