What does this network cable do?
A Cat6 S/FTP network cable connects devices in your network with stable, fast data connections. You need this cable to connect computers, printers, switches or routers to each other for reliable internet connections and network traffic. The 3-metre length provides sufficient reach for standard office layouts without unnecessary excess cable.

Why choose shielded Cat6?
The S/FTP design means this cable is doubly shielded: each wire pair has its own metallic foil (PIMF) plus an additional braided screen around all the wires. This double protection prevents interference from external sources such as wifi signals, mobile phones or other electronic equipment in busy office environments.

Practical benefits of the construction
The RJ45 connectors have a special boot with kink protection and strain relief, making the cable resistant to daily use and frequent plugging and unplugging. The 1:1 wiring ensures correct wire configuration according to the standard. Length markings are applied to the connector boots for easy identification.

Please note when connecting
This cable has a red connector that stands out among other cables, handy for distinguishing connections. Check whether your network ports support shielded connections to get the most out of the S/FTP properties. For unshielded network ports the cable also works, but you won't benefit from all the advantages of the double shielding.
