What does a Cat. 6 patch cable do?
A patch cable connects devices in your network, such as computers, switches, routers or printers. This DIGITUS Cat. 6 cable is suitable for fast data connections up to 1 Gigabit and higher network speeds. You need this type of cable when you want to create reliable wired network connections in office environments.

Why choose a 15 metre length?
With a length of 15 metres, you bridge greater distances within office spaces without signal loss. This length is ideal for connections between different rooms, from patch panel to workstation, or when you want to position equipment flexibly. The cable gives you sufficient room to manoeuvre without unnecessary excess length.

Excellent protection against interference
This S/FTP cable has double shielding: each wire pair is wrapped in metal foil (PIMF) and the whole has an additional braided shield. This construction protects against electromagnetic interference from other devices, ensuring stable data transmission. In environments with a lot of electronic equipment, this shielding is essential for reliable performance.

Practical details for use
The RJ45 connectors have strain relief and kink protection, which extends the life of the cable. The 1:1 wiring means both ends are wired identically, as is standard for patch cables. The connectors carry length markings, which are handy for identification in more complex network installations.
