What does a Cat. 6A patch cable do?
A patch cable connects network equipment such as computers, switches and routers to one another. You need this cable when you want a reliable network connection between devices in your office or home working environment. Cat. 6A cables support higher speeds than standard Cat. 5e cables.

Why choose a 3-metre length?
This 3-metre length gives you enough flexibility for most office connections without unnecessary excess cable. You can use it to connect devices that are not directly next to each other, such as a computer and a switch in a server room, or a printer on the other side of your desk.

Shielded S/FTP design for stability
This cable has a shielded S/FTP construction, which means that each wire pair and the entire cable are shielded against electromagnetic interference. This ensures stable data transmission, which is especially important in environments with a lot of electrical equipment. The LSZH sheath produces less smoke when heated, which is safer in office environments.

Practical details for use
The RJ45 connectors feature a latch protection, so they are less likely to break when plugging and unplugging. The strain relief at the connectors prevents the cable from being damaged by sharp bends. Thanks to the 1:1 wiring (straight-through), this cable is suitable for standard network connections between different device types, such as computer to switch or router to modem.
