What does this product do?

The Eberhard Faber Click It! GenTrend is a gel pen you use when you want smooth, comfortable writing with blue ink. Gel pens produce a more even line than ordinary ballpoint pens, which makes them suitable for notes, everyday writing tasks and documents where legibility matters.

Why this variant?

This pen combines a handy click mechanism with a clip, so you can get it ready quickly and easily attach it to a notebook or breast pocket. The barrel has a soft-touch surface with a colour gradient, which makes writing for longer periods more pleasant for the hand. In addition, the pen is refillable, so you don't have to throw the barrel away once the ink runs out.

Honest about the eraser function

At the end of the barrel there is a plastic tip with which you can rub out what you have written. Please note that this is a plastic tip and not a traditional rubber eraser — the result depends on the paper and how fresh the ink is. For light corrections this is a handy extra, but for extensive corrections a separate eraser is often more reliable.

Practical tip

The pen has a writing width of 0.7 mm, which is a good middle ground between fine and regular writing. If you want to keep using this pen for a long time, when ordering replacement refills look for model number 582139 to be sure of the correct refill. The pen is supplied on a blister card, which also makes it suitable as a neat little gift or desk present.
