What does an elastic folder do, and when do you need one?

An elastic folder is designed to keep loose documents together without the need to punch holes or bind them. You use it when you want to store a temporary or ongoing file, for example for a project, a meeting, or incoming post that still needs to be processed.

Why this format is the right choice

This elastic folder is suitable for A4 documents, the most commonly used size in offices and at home. With dimensions of 240 x 320 mm, standard A4 sheets fit in it without folding or trimming. That makes it immediately useful for invoices, correspondence, reports and forms.

The key feature: sturdy card with elastic and inside flaps

The folder is made of Colorspan card with a weight of 355 g/m², which provides a sturdy structure that keeps its shape even when used or carried regularly. The corner elastic band holds the contents in place so that papers don't fall out. There are also three folded flaps, so your documents are protected at the sides too. The front features a pre-printed field for writing, handy for noting down the contents of the file quickly.

Practical tip: identification and filing

The yellow colour makes it easy to tell this folder apart from others in a stack or drawer. If you work with several files, you can use a colour for each category. Store the folder lying flat or upright in a drawer or on a shelf; the card is sturdy enough to bear either without the folder warping.
