What is an elastic folder and when do you need one?
An elastic folder is used to keep loose documents together without punching holes or binding them. The folder closes with an elastic band over the corner, so the contents stay securely in place. This makes it ideal when you want to temporarily bundle papers together, for example for a meeting, a quotation or a file you regularly take with you.

Why this format is the right choice
This elastic folder is suitable for A4 documents, the standard size for virtually all office and school paper in the Netherlands. With dimensions of 240 x 320 mm, standard A4 sheets fit in without folding or trimming. The three flaps that fold over the sides ensure that documents cannot slide out or fall out, even when transported.

An honest look at the material
The folder is made from Colorspan cardboard with a weight of 355 g/m². This is sturdy enough to stand on its own and to be used multiple times without creasing quickly. Colorspan cardboard has a slightly glossy finish, which brings out the turquoise colour well and makes the folder easy to spot among other folders on your desk or in a bag. It is not a hard plastic cover, so with intensive daily use over a longer period you can expect some wear.

Practical tip: use the pre-printed front
The front of the folder has a pre-printed field where you can note the contents. Write the project name, date or file number there straight away, so you can find the folder quickly. If you keep several folders, the turquoise colour also helps you quickly distinguish between different categories of documents.
