What does this elastic folder do and when do you need it?

An elastic folder is used when you want to keep loose documents together without punching or binding them. With three flaps, the folder closes on all sides, so papers cannot fall out. That makes it handy for meeting documents, quotations or files that you regularly take along or pass on.

Why this format is the right choice

This folder is suitable for A4 documents and measures 240 x 320 mm, which fits standard office paper exactly. The corner elastic band keeps the folder firmly closed without you having to operate a separate fastener. That way you can pick up the folder quickly and have everything at hand.

An honest look at the card

The folder is made from Colorspan card weighing 355 g/m². This gives more rigidity than thinner card, so the folder keeps its shape under normal use. Colorspan card has a smooth, slightly glossy finish that withstands daily use, but it is not a hard cover — with very intensive transport alongside heavy objects, the card may bend.

Practical tip on use and organisation

The front of the folder has a pre-printed label box, so you can label the contents directly without sticking on a separate label. Store the folder upright in a drawer or on a shelf for the longest life of the card. The violet colour makes it easy to tell this folder apart from other folders in a colour-coding system, which is useful if you manage several files or projects in parallel.
