What does this folder do and when do you need it?
An accordion folder with compartments is ideal if you want to sort documents without punching or binding them. You keep loose papers, invoices, correspondence or project documents neatly together, ready to take along or to consult quickly. This type of folder suits anyone who regularly works with paperwork at home or in the office.

Why this format and this layout?
The folder is made in A4 format, the most widely used paper size in the office, and has 12 compartments. This lets you organise a complete file or several projects at once in a clear way, for example by month, by client or by theme. Twelve compartments offer more room for finer subdivision than a standard tab folder.

An honest word about the material
The folder is made of Colorspan board weighing 355 g/m². This makes it sturdier than simple paper board, but it is not a hard plastic folder. The insides are finished in black and the outside is printed, which gives it a neat appearance. An elastic band keeps the folder closed, so loose documents do not fall out during transport.

Practical tip for use
The dimensions of 245 x 320 mm match standard A4 documents, so you don't need to fold anything. Do check whether the compartments are wide enough for the amount of paper you want to keep in each section: with an even split across 12 compartments, each section is intended for a limited stack. The folder is not suitable for use in a ring binder; store it flat or upright in a drawer or cupboard.
