When do you need watercolour crayon?
Watercolour crayon combines the precision of a crayon with the fluidity of watercolour paint. You use it when you want to apply both dry line techniques and wet paint effects in a single artwork. The cobalt blue is a classic colour that is essential for landscapes, portraits and abstract works.

Why choose this 3,8 mm thickness?
The 3,8 mm lead diameter offers you a perfect balance between detail and filling areas. You can draw fine lines as well as colour broader areas without the lead wearing down too quickly. This thickness is ideal for standard sketching and detailed watercolour techniques.

What makes this lead special?
The special bonding ensures that the lead is break-resistant, so it is less likely to snap during intensive use. The high-quality pigments give you a smooth and colour-rich stroke, which means you achieve more colour intensity with less pressure. The high lightfastness ensures your artwork stays beautiful for years.

Practical usage tip
With 6 pieces, you have enough stock for multiple projects. The length of 176 mm sits comfortably in your hand during longer drawing and painting sessions. You can use the crayon dry for sketching or wet it with a brush for watercolour effects on the same drawing.
