These watercolour pencils give your creativity full room! With 36 colours in a sturdy metal case, you apply soft, vibrant lines that you turn into beautiful watercolour effects with water.
When do you choose this product?
What are watercolour pencils and when do you use them?
Watercolour pencils combine the precision of coloured pencils with the soft, flowing effects of watercolour paint. You use them when you want to draw in detail and also create watercolour effects by adding water. They are ideal for artists who want control over their work, but also the spontaneity of watercolour techniques.
Why choose 36 colours in a metal tin?
With 36 different colours, you have an extensive colour set at your disposal, from basic colours such as white and black to specific shades such as cobalt turquoise and Venetian red. The metal tin protects your investment and keeps all the pencils organised. This size offers enough variety for serious artwork without being overwhelmed by too many choices.
Soft lead with water-soluble properties
These Albrecht Dürer pencils have a soft, vibrant lead that blends easily. When you add water, the pigments transform into watercolour paint, allowing you to apply different techniques within a single artwork. The water-soluble property means you can use both dry pencil techniques and wet watercolour techniques.
Practical specifications for optimal use
With a core diameter of 3.8 mm and a length of 176 mm, these pencils sit comfortably in the hand and provide enough material for long-lasting use. The wide range of colours includes both warm and cool shades, from warm grey 2 to steel blue, allowing you to create realistic skin tones, landscapes and abstract works.
