When do you choose this product?
What are watercolour pencils and when do you use them?
Watercolour pencils are special coloured pencils that you can use as dry coloured pencils, but which also dissolve in water. This allows you to combine dry lines and hatching with smooth watercolour effects. You use them for illustrations, sketches and artworks where you want to create both precise details and soft colour transitions.
Why choose this 24-colour set?
This set offers an extensive colour palette with 24 carefully selected shades, from basic colours to specific artist colours such as phthalo blue, cadmium orange and Venetian red. With this variety, you can mix virtually any colour you need for your artwork. The metal case keeps your pencils safely stored and easy to take along.
Soft texture and intense colours
These watercolour pencils have a soft texture that gives a smooth, vibrant stroke. The lead has a thickness of 3.8 mm, giving you enough material for both broad areas of colour and finer details. The length of 176 mm makes them comfortable to use for longer drawing sessions.
Practical tip for optimal results
For the best watercolour effect, first apply the colour dry and then carefully add water with a brush. Start with little water and gradually build up - this way you keep control over the intensity. Let each layer dry thoroughly before adding the next to prevent unwanted colour mixing.
