When do you need a ballpoint pen refill?
A ballpoint pen refill lets you give your empty ballpoint pen a second life instead of buying a new pen. This Faber-Castell refill is suitable when your ballpoint pen stops writing but the barrel is still in perfect condition. You save money and reduce waste by replacing only the refill.

Why choose the XB thickness of 0.6 mm?
XB stands for extra broad and gives a clearly visible line of 0.6 mm. Choose this size when you want your writing to stand out, for example when filling in forms or taking notes that need to be easy to read. The broader line stands out more than standard ballpoint strokes.

Benefits of this steel tip
This refill has a steel tip that writes lightly and smoothly without applying much pressure. It writes document-proof and light-resistant, which means your text won't fade in sunlight and remains legally valid for important documents. The ink is also suitable for carbon copying through to underlying sheets of paper.

Checking compatibility
Check whether this refill fits your ballpoint pen by comparing reference number 148747 with your current refill or your pen's specifications. Faber-Castell refills usually fit Faber-Castell ballpoint pens, but always check this beforehand. Keep the packaging with the reference number for future orders.
