When should you choose this triangular colouring pencil?
The Faber-Castell Jumbo GRIP colouring pencil has been developed for young artists who are just learning to colour and draw. The triangular shape helps children develop a good pencil grip, which is essential for the writing and drawing process. This type of pencil is ideal when you are looking for a tool that supports both creative fun and learning goals.

Why choose this jumbo version?
With a thick core of 5.3 mm, this colouring pencil is much sturdier than standard pencils. This extra width makes the pencil less breakable and makes it easier to fill in areas with colour. For children who still press hard while colouring, this robust version offers more resistance to breaking.

The benefit of the Soft-Grip Zone
The integrated Soft-Grip Zone around the pencil provides extra comfort during prolonged use. This soft zone prevents small fingers from slipping and reduces hand fatigue. Combined with the triangular shape, you get optimal control over the pencil, resulting in more precise colouring.

Practical for school and home
The pencil measures 175 mm in length and has a name field where you can write the child's name. This prevents loss at school or at the childcare centre. A particularly handy feature is that this colouring pencil is watercolour-soluble, meaning you can blend the colours with water for watercolour effects.
