When do you need a mechanical pencil?
A mechanical pencil is ideal when you write or draw regularly without wanting to keep sharpening. This Faber-Castell Apollo mechanical pencil gives you a consistent line width and is perfect for everyday use at the office, at school or when drawing technical sketches.

Why choose a 0.7 mm lead?
The 0.7 mm lead diameter offers the ideal balance between precision and sturdiness. Your lead breaks less easily than with thinner variants, while you can still write and draw with sufficient accuracy. This makes the mechanical pencil suitable for both notes and detailed work.

Spring-loaded lead for more comfort
What's special about this Apollo model is the spring-loaded lead. This mechanism allows the lead to give slightly under pressure and therefore break less easily. So you can write with more force without worrying that your lead will snap, which is especially handy during intensive use.

Practical details that make the difference
The ergonomic grip zone ensures comfortable use during longer writing sessions. The built-in eraser at the end means you always have an eraser to hand for small corrections. The retractable tip protects your lead when you put the mechanical pencil in your bag or case, so you'll need to refill the lead less often.
