What are CD/DVD markers and when do you need them?
CD/DVD markers are specially developed permanent pens for writing on optical discs. You need them when you want to label CDs, DVDs or other optical media without damaging the sensitive data layers. These markers are indispensable for organising your media collection or marking back-ups.

Why the 1.0 mm line width is ideal
With a line width of approximately 1.0 mm, these pens offer the perfect balance between legibility and precision. This medium-sized tip ensures your text is clearly visible on the small surface of a CD label, while still allowing you to add details such as dates or version numbers.

Metal-clad tip for durability
The metal-clad tip of these Faber-Castell markers ensures a consistent ink flow and prevents the tip from wearing down quickly. This construction guarantees that you can still draw sharp, even lines after intensive use. The permanent ink dries quickly and remains resistant to normal wear.

Practical colour coding with four basic colours
The set contains four essential colours: black, red, blue and green. This selection lets you set up a practical colour-coding system – for example black for music, blue for software, red for back-ups and green for videos. That way you can quickly find what you're looking for in your media collection.
