For professional drawings and calligraphy
The Faber-Castell PITT Artist Pen has been specially developed for artists who work with pigmented drawing ink. You use this pen when you want permanent, professional results for drawing, illustration or calligraphy. The white colour makes it particularly suitable for working on dark backgrounds or for adding highlights to your artwork.

Why a 2.5 mm calligraphy tip
The 2.5 mm calligraphy tip gives you the flexibility to make both broad strokes and finer lines, depending on the angle at which you hold the pen. This tip is ideal for lettering, decorative elements and artistic accents where you want to create variation in line thickness. The size gives you more control than wider tips, but is more expressive than thin fineliners.

Permanent and lightfast properties
The pigmented drawing ink is waterproof and permanent once dry, which means your work will not fade or run when in contact with moisture. The high lightfastness ensures that your artwork retains its colour, even with prolonged exposure to light. Moreover, the ink is acid-free and odourless, which is important for archiving and use in enclosed spaces.

Practical usage tip
The cap is fitted with a clip for easy attachment to your sketchbook or clothing. Always test first on a small piece of material before starting your final work, especially when using coated paper or alternative surfaces, to check how the white ink behaves on that specific surface.
