When do you choose this product?
What does this product do?
The Faber-Castell PITT artist pen is a professional drawing pen with pigmented drawing ink, specially developed for artists and illustrators. You use this pen for permanent drawings, illustrations and artworks where you want your work to remain beautiful over the long term. Thanks to the high-quality pigments, your lines do not disappear or fade over time.
Why this 1.5 mm variant?
With a line width of 1.5 mm, you can make medium to broad strokes, ideal for filling in larger areas or creating expressive, bold lines. This pen width sits between fine detail work and very broad area filling, allowing you to draw versatilely without constantly switching pens.
Permanent and lightfast properties
The ink is waterproof and permanent, meaning your drawing will not run if it comes into contact with moisture. In addition, the ink is highly lightfast, so your artwork will not fade when exposed to daylight. The acid-free composition ensures that the paper is not damaged by the ink.
Practical usage tip
This drawing pen is odourless, so you can draw comfortably for longer periods without being bothered by unpleasant fumes. Store the pen horizontally and make sure the cap is properly closed to prevent the ink from drying out. The silver-coloured ink produces a unique metallic effect that works especially well on dark backgrounds.
