When do you choose this product?
What are PITT artist pen drawing pens?
These Faber-Castell drawing pens are professional India ink pens developed specifically for artists and illustrators. They contain pigmented drawing ink that is permanent, waterproof and lightfast. You need these pens when you want to make durable drawings that will not fade or bleed.
Why this set of 4 different line widths?
This set contains four pens with different tip sizes: XS (extra fine), S (fine), F (fine) and M (medium). This variety gives you the flexibility to draw both fine details and broader lines without having to switch pens. It is ideal when you want to combine different effects in a single drawing.
Permanent and acid-free properties
The pigmented ink is fully waterproof and permanent once it has dried. This means your drawing will not run if it comes into contact with water. Moreover, the ink is acid-free, which is important for the long-term durability of your artwork. The pens are also odourless during use.
Practical usage tip
Each pen has a cap with a clip, so you can easily attach them to a sketchbook or bag. Always test first on a scrap of paper to see which line thickness you need for the desired effect. Store the pens horizontally to maintain an even distribution of ink.
