What does this felt-tip pen do?
The Faber-Castell PITT artist pen is a professional felt-tip pen that you use for permanent drawings, illustrations and works of art. Thanks to the pigmented drawing ink, you get intense colours that do not fade when exposed to light. You need this pen when you are working on projects where durability and colour fastness are essential.

Why choose the 1.5 mm size?
With a line width of 1.5 mm, this variant sits between a fine detail pen and a broad marker. This size is ideal for medium-sized line drawings, lettering of average size and filling in smaller areas. You get enough control for precision work, but can also work efficiently on larger surfaces.

Permanent properties for long-lasting results
This felt-tip pen is fully waterproof and permanent, which means your drawing withstands moisture and does not run. The ink is also acid-free, so paper will not discolour or deteriorate over time. Thanks to its odourless formulation, you can work comfortably indoors without any irritating fumes.

Practical tip for optimal use
Store the pen horizontally with the cap firmly closed to prevent it from drying out. The metallic blue colour shows to best effect on white or lightly coloured paper. For the best results, you can combine the pen with other PITT artist pens from the same range, as they all share the same permanent properties.
