When do you choose this product?
What does a PITT artist pen fineliner do?
A fineliner is a professional drawing pen used for artistic drawings, illustrations and ink drawings. You need this pen when you want to make permanent drawings that are resistant to light and water. The Faber-Castell PITT artist pen works with pigmented drawing ink that delivers superior performance compared to ordinary felt-tip pens.
Why choose the 1.5 mm copper colour variant?
The 1.5 mm line width gives you a medium line thickness that is perfect for details as well as for filling in smaller areas. The copper colour adds warmth and depth to your drawings and combines nicely with other earthy and metallic shades. This colour is ideal for accentuating specific parts of your artwork.
Permanent and lightfast properties
This fineliner is waterproof and permanent once the ink has dried. The high lightfastness ensures that your drawings will not fade, even after prolonged exposure to light. The ink is also acid-free, which means your paper will not discolour or be damaged over time. These properties make the pen suitable for artworks you want to keep for a long time.
Practical tip for use
The pen is odourless during use, so you can draw comfortably indoors without ventilation. Store the pen horizontally and make sure the cap fits securely to prevent it from drying out.
