When do you choose this product?
What does this product do?
The Faber-Castell PITT artist pen is a India ink marker that you use for drawings, illustrations and artworks where you want permanent results. Thanks to the pigmented drawing ink, you get intense colours that do not fade or bleed, which is essential for artistic projects that need to stay beautiful for a long time.
Why choose the gold 1.5 mm variant?
This gold version is ideal when you want to add warm accents to your work or highlight luxurious details. The 1.5 mm line width gives you sufficient coverage for both fine lines and filling in smaller areas, without needing a brush.
Permanent and lightfast character
The great advantage of this India ink marker is that the ink is waterproof and permanent once dry. You can therefore work over it with other materials without the gold colour bleeding through. The high lightfastness means your artwork will keep its colour for years, even when exposed to daylight.
Practical usage tips
This pen works best on paper and card that is not too smooth, so the ink can adhere well. Thanks to its acid-free and low-odour nature, you can also use the pen in poorly ventilated spaces without being troubled by fumes. Store the pen horizontally with the cap on to prevent it from drying out.
