When using carbon paper
This rollerball refill is specially designed for carbon copying, allowing you to make several copies at once. If you regularly fill in forms that need to write through multiple layers of paper, or if you use carbon paper, you need a refill that can apply enough pressure to write through all the layers.

Why a ceramic tip is the right choice
The ceramic tip ensures consistent ink flow and has a long service life. Unlike ordinary metal tips, ceramic wears down less quickly and retains its original writing properties for longer. This means your refill lasts longer and your writing result stays even.

Durable water-based ink
This refill uses lightfast water-based ink, which means your writing won't fade from sunlight or artificial light. Water-based ink dries quickly and smudges less than oil-based alternatives. Thanks to its lightfastness, important documents and notes remain legible for a long time, even when they are stored or displayed.

Compatibility with BASIC rollerball pens
This refill has been specifically developed for Faber-Castell BASIC rollerball pens and fits the holders designed for them. Check that your rollerball barrel is suitable for this large-capacity refill before ordering. The refill has reference number 148712, which you can use to verify that this is the right refill for your pen.
