When should you choose a mechanical pencil?
A pencil with a 0.7 mm lead diameter is ideal if you write, draw or make technical sketches regularly. You are assured of a consistent line width without having to sharpen as you would with ordinary pencils. The 0.7 mm thickness offers a good balance between precision and lead durability.

Why this GRIP MATIC model?
This Faber-Castell mechanical pencil stands out thanks to its automatic lead advance system. You don't have to press manually to bring new lead forward - this happens automatically while you write. The ergonomic rubber grip zone ensures comfortable use during longer writing sessions.

Practical benefits of the design
The translucent barrel gives you a view of the lead supply, so you can top up in good time. The extra-long eraser is integrated into the design and offers ample correction options. The pocket-safe design means the tip safely retracts or pulls in, keeping your clothing and other items in your bag protected.

Suitable for everyday use
The light blue colour makes this mechanical pencil easy to spot among other stationery. Preferably fill it with standard 0.7 mm pencil leads of good quality for optimal performance. Thanks to the automatic function, this mechanical pencil is especially handy for people who take a lot of notes and don't want to be interrupted by manual operation.
