This soft modelling clay is specially developed for children and encourages their creativity. Oven-hardens in 30 minutes and is safe according to EN71 standards - ideal for first modelling projects!
When do you choose this product?
When do you need oven-hardening modelling clay?
FIMO kids modelling clay is ideal when you want to make permanently durable creations that become firm and sturdy after baking. Unlike ordinary clay, which stays moist or dries out, this clay hardens in the oven and keeps its shape for good. This makes it perfect for making jewellery, figurines, magnets or other decorative objects that you want to keep for a long time.
Why developed specially for children?
This FIMO kids variant has been specially adapted to the needs of children and feels particularly soft. This allows small hands to knead and shape the clay more easily without much effort. The soft consistency means children can keep modelling for longer without their hands getting tired, so they enjoy the creative process more.
Safe according to European standards
The clay complies with EN71, the European safety standard for toys. This means the product has been tested for harmful substances and is safe for children to use. So you can let your child play and craft with it without worrying about their health.
Practical baking tip and storage
Baking takes place at 110 degrees for 30 minutes in an ordinary household oven. Always use baking paper or an old baking tray that you no longer use for food. The 42 gram pack is resealable, so the clay stays soft for a long time if you close it properly after use. Store the clay at room temperature for the best workability.

Dex knows - user tips
Bake your creation for 30 minutes at 110 °C in the oven — do not use a microwave for this, and preferably set aside a separate oven tray that you no longer use for food.
