When do you need oven-hardening modelling clay?
FIMO SOFT modelling clay is ideal when you want to create durable creations that keep their shape. Unlike ordinary clay that becomes soft again, this clay becomes permanently hard when heated in the oven. This makes it perfect for making jewellery, miniatures, decorative objects or other projects that need to last.

Why choose the soft SOFT variant?
This SOFT version is ready to use straight away without any preparation. The clay is already soft and pliable, so you can start modelling immediately without first having to knead or warm it. This saves time and also makes it suitable for children and beginners who are still getting used to working with modelling clay.

How does the hardening process work?
Hardening takes 30 minutes at a temperature of 110 degrees in an ordinary oven. This relatively low temperature means you don't need any special equipment. After baking, your creation is permanently hard and the colours retain their intensity. You can also easily mix different colours before baking them.

Handy portioning for projects
The block is already pre-divided into 8 handy portions. This makes measuring easy and prevents waste, especially for smaller projects. The compact size makes the block easy to store. Keep unused clay at room temperature in the original packaging to prevent it from drying out.
