What is this yarn and what do you use it for?

This cotton yarn from folia is intended for knitting, crocheting and decorative applications. It is a versatile yarn that you can use for hand-crafting projects, such as making small crocheted figures, jewellery or decorations for craft projects.

Why this size and this colour?

The ball weighs 50 grams and contains 150 metres of yarn, which is a handy amount for smaller projects or for adding a colour to a larger piece. The colour apricot is a warm, soft shade that suits decorative applications and seasonal craft work well. If you need multiple balls, you can easily reorder thanks to the fixed ball size.

An honest explanation of the structure and strength

The yarn has a structure of 32/2x8, is multiple-twisted and has a high tear resistance. This means that the threads are firmly twisted around each other, so the yarn is less likely to fray while you work. Because the yarn is made from 100% cotton, it is pleasant to work with and suitable for people who are sensitive to synthetic materials.

Practical tip for use

Check in advance which crochet hook or knitting needle size matches the structure code 32/2x8; this is usually stated on the packaging or in the instructions for your knitting or crochet pattern. Since this yarn is also intended for decoration, you can also use it for tying or decorating craft projects, such as wrapping letters or making pom-poms.
