What does this yarn do and when do you need it?
This cotton yarn from folia is intended for knitting, crocheting and decorative applications. Choose it when you want to make a project that requires a sturdy, reliable yarn that sits well in the hand and gives a beautiful, even colour.

Why this size and this variant?
The spool contains 50 grams of yarn with a thread length of 150 metres, which is a common quantity for smaller projects such as accessories, decorations or parts of larger pieces. The colour emerald makes this yarn suitable when you are working with green tones in your design.

An honest note on the most important feature
The yarn has a structure and strength marked as 32/2x8, is multi-ply twisted and has a high tear strength. Because it is twisted several times, the yarn is less likely to come apart while you work. It is made from 100% cotton, which means it has no elastic stretch like wool, so keep this in mind for projects where sturdiness and dimensional stability are important.

Practical tip for use
Because this yarn is suitable for both knitting and crocheting, you can use it with a wide range of needles and hooks. Always check the recommended needle or hook size that suits the 32/2x8 structure before you start, so that the density of your work is right. For decorative applications such as decorating gifts or craft projects, you can also use the yarn without any tools, simply as decorative string or binding material.
