What does this product do?

Use this glitter to give your craft projects, cards or decorative creations an iridescent mint effect. The box features a shaker lid, so you can dose the glitter precisely onto your work without finding spilt glitter everywhere afterwards.

Why choose this variant?

This glitter is made from polylactic acid (PLA) instead of conventional plastic. If you consciously choose materials with a lower environmental impact, this variant is a sensible choice for craft activities at home, at school or in childcare.

What does biodegradable mean here, exactly?

Important to know: the glitter is not fully biodegradable. Under the test conditions prescribed by the EU, the material breaks down by approximately 75%, which meets the requirements set for biodegradability. This means that some of the material does not break down, so do not expect complete composting under all conditions. The 75% score was achieved under specific test conditions, which may differ from breakdown in an ordinary garden compost heap or in a natural environment.

Practical tip

Thanks to the shaker lid on the box, you can apply the glitter directly and in controlled amounts, which is handy for precision work such as accentuating edges or details on paper. Store the box upright and closed after use, so that the shaker lid is not accidentally
