What is crêpe paper and when do you use it?
Crêpe paper is a versatile craft material that you use for decorations, school projects and hobby activities. Thanks to its crinkled texture, the paper is easy to shape and fold. The light blue crêpe paper offers a soft, natural shade that suits a range of creative applications.

Why choose this roll format?
At 500 mm wide and 2.5 metres long, you get enough material for medium-sized projects. This roll width of 50 centimetres is practical for making garlands, flowers or covering objects. The length of 2.5 metres gives you the flexibility to cut the paper to suit your project.

What does the moisture-sensitive property mean?
This crêpe paper is moisture-sensitive, which means the colour may bleed when it becomes damp. On contact with water or moisture, the light blue colour can therefore run or fade. This property can be desirable for certain techniques, but undesirable for others.

Practical tips for use
Take the moisture sensitivity into account with your projects. Avoid contact with wet hands or damp surfaces if you want to keep the colour intact. For watercolour-style effects, you can actually make use of this property. Store the crêpe paper dry and roll it up neatly after use to prevent creasing.
