Make impressive Bascetta stars with these light blue transparent folding sheets. Includes a clear manual, so you can start straight away with this popular 3D folding project.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need Bascetta star folding sheets?
The Bascetta star is a popular 3D origami technique with which you fold impressive decorative stars. These folding sheets have been specially developed for making these complex star shapes, which are perfect as seasonal decoration, gift decoration or as a creative hobby project. You have exactly the right amount of paper to make one complete Bascetta star.
Why choose the 150×150 mm size?
This size of 15 by 15 centimetres is ideal for folding Bascetta stars with a nice size. The square paper is large enough to work with comfortably without the folding lines becoming too small, yet remains easy to handle for the many folding steps required. The result is a star with perfect proportions that stands out without being overly large.
Transparent paper for a special effect
The transparent nature of this 115 gram paper creates a unique play of light when you hold the finished star up to the light or illuminate it. The light blue colour gives a calm, elegant appearance that suits a variety of interior styles. The paper weight of 115 grams per square metre offers sufficient sturdiness to keep the complex folded structure stable.
Practical benefits of this folding pack
The pack contains 32 sheets, exactly the number you need for one complete Bascetta star using the traditional method. The included folding guide helps you step by step through the process, which is especially useful if you have not worked with this technique before. Store any leftover sheets flat and dry to prevent creasing.
