When do you use crepe paper?

Crepe paper is a versatile material that you can use for craft projects, party decorations, gift wrapping and school assignments. The lightly crinkled texture makes the paper stretchable and easy to shape, so you can wrap it around all kinds of forms or fold it into pleats.

Why this roll in the 500 mm × 2.5 m size?

With a width of 500 mm and a length of 2.5 m, you have enough material for several projects or a larger piece of work. This size works well both for individual use at home and for group activities in the classroom or at a children's party, because you can cut off exactly as much as you need.

Water-resistant and non-colour-bleeding: what does that mean in practice?

This crepe paper roll is water-resistant and does not bleed colour when damp. The latter is important when you combine the paper with other materials or use wet glue: you don't have to worry about the yellow colour bleeding onto paper, fabric or other surfaces. This makes the roll more reliable to use on projects where moisture plays a role, such as flower decorations made with water or wet papier-mâché.

Practical tip for storage and use

Store the roll upright or lying flat in a dry, dark place to prevent discolouration or damage to the crepe paper. When you combine the roll with other crepe paper rolls in different colours, you can build larger decorative projects in which the colours stay reliably separate, without running into each other or staining adjacent colours.
