What does this bag do and when do you need it?
The folia Mesh shopping bag is a reusable cotton mesh bag that you take with you when doing your shopping or when you want to carry things without using a plastic bag. Thanks to the mesh weave, the bag packs away compactly, but it can expand considerably once you fill it.

Why this size and this model?
With a width and height of 440 mm each, the bag offers enough room for a full shopping round. The total length of 790 mm means you can carry the bag by hand using the short handles or hang it over your shoulder thanks to the longer handles. That way you can choose whatever is most convenient at the time.

An honest word about the material and mesh size
The bag is made of 100% cotton, which means the material is breathable and washable, but it also means you should not put sharp or pointed objects in it that could damage the weave. The mesh size is 10 x 10 mm, so small loose products such as garlic cloves or sweets can fall through — for these, use a separate bag or the small inner pocket the bag has.

Handy practical tip
The built-in small inner pocket is ideal for your phone, keys or another small item you don't want to lose amongst your shopping. After use, you can simply put the bag in the wash; cotton copes well with a machine wash, although it's best to check the care label for the recommended temperature. The olive green colour also makes the bag easy to spot in a full shopping trolley or bag.
