What does this bag do and when do you need it?
The folia Mesh shopping bag is a reusable shopping bag made from 100% cotton, intended for daily shopping or carrying items. Because the bag has an open mesh structure, it is lightweight and folds up small when you're not using it. It is a handy alternative to single-use plastic bags.

Why this size and this variant?
The bag measures 440 mm in both width and height, which offers enough space for a substantial shopping trip. The total length including the handles is 790 mm, so you can carry the bag in your hand or hang it over your shoulder. That makes it versatile in a range of situations.

An honest note on the mesh structure
The mesh size is 10 x 10 mm. This means that small loose items, such as nuts, small fruit or loose sweets, can fall through the openings if they are not packaged. For packaged goods, larger vegetables and fruit, or bags and boxes, the mesh structure is actually ideal, as it gives with the contents and has little weight of its own.

Practical tip about the handles
The bag is fitted with both short and long handles, giving you the choice of how to carry it depending on what you're taking. The bag also has a small inside pocket, which is handy for keeping a key, receipt or small item separate so it doesn't disappear among your shopping. Because the bag is made from 100% cotton, it is also washable, which significantly extends its lifespan.
