What is braided cord and when do you need it?
Braided cord is used for creative projects where you want to join different materials or add decorative accents. This transparent cord with metallic threads is ideal for craft projects, decorations and handicraft projects where you want a subtle shine without the cord itself drawing attention.

Why choose this 1.8 mm size?
At a thickness of 1.8 mm, this cord is sturdy enough for most braiding projects, yet not so thick that it becomes difficult to work with. The length of 1 metre per piece gives you the flexibility to cut the cord to size for different projects without waste.

Transparent with gold/silver metallic effect
The transparent base material keeps the cord subtle, while the gold and silver threads running through it give an elegant metallic shine. This effect adds visual interest without being overwhelming, making it suitable for both festive and more understated projects.

Practical tip for use
With 50 pieces in the pack, you have enough material for several projects or to share in a group setting such as at school or in a workshop. Store unused cord in a dry place to prevent the metallic threads from discolouring or the transparent material from becoming cloudy.
