What are Scoubidou lacing cords?
Scoubidou lacing cords are thin plastic strands that you can use to make key rings, bracelets and other small accessories through special braiding techniques. This type of craft is popular with children and adults who enjoy creative pastimes. You need these cords when you want to get started with this traditional braiding craft.

Why choose this set?
This set contains 30 cords in a mix of opaque and transparent plastic. The assorted colours — white, red, orange, black, light blue, pink, yellow, light green, dark blue and violet — offer enough variety to create colourful creations. You can put together both contrasting and harmonious combinations.

Practical properties of these cords
The material is a mix of opaque and transparent plastic, so you can create different effects in your braiding. The cords are sturdy enough for durable creations, yet flexible enough for braiding.

Tip for optimal use
As a beginner, start with simple square or round braiding techniques before moving on to more complex patterns. Keep leftover pieces of cord in a box, as even shorter lengths are still useful for small details or as an addition to other colours. Plan in advance which colours you want to combine to achieve the best result.
