When do you use watercolour paper?
Watercolour paper is specially developed for working with watercolour paint and other wet techniques. You need this type of paper when you make watercolours, watercolour techniques or mixed media works in which water plays a role. The paper prevents the paint from soaking through the paper or the paper from curling due to damp techniques.

Why choose the 300×400 mm size?
This size of 300×400 millimetres offers enough space for both detailed work and larger compositions. It is large enough for serious artistic work, yet still easy to handle on your worktable. With 10 sheets in the block, you have enough paper for a series of works or to experiment with different techniques.

The advantage of a rough surface
This watercolour block has a rough surface texture that creates interesting texture effects in your work. The roughness holds pigments and creates natural variations in your paint layers. The paper has a weight of 200 grams per square metre, which is sturdy enough to absorb moisture well without tearing or curling excessively.

Practical properties for long-term use
The paper is acid-free and resistant to ageing, which means your artworks will retain their colour and quality over the years. The block is glued on all four sides, so the sheets stay firmly attached while you work and only come loose once your work is completely dry. This prevents curling while you paint.
