Watercolour paper with a coarse texture that absorbs and lets paint flow beautifully. The acid-free quality ensures your artworks won't discolour, perfect for lasting creations.
When do you choose this product?
Who is watercolour paper intended for?
Watercolour paper is specially developed for working with watercolour paint and other wet techniques. You need this type of paper when you use watercolour paint, ecoline or other water-based paints, because ordinary drawing paper does not absorb the paint well and can tear.
Why choose coarse watercolour paper?
This paper block has a rough surface texture that is ideal for expressive watercolour techniques. The coarse texture allows the paint to flow naturally and creates beautiful colour transitions. The 18×24 cm size is handy for studies, sketches and smaller watercolours.
What does 4-fold glued paper mean?
The 4-fold gluing process ensures the paper is optimally water-resistant without the paint soaking through. At 200 g/m², this paper is sturdy enough to carry multiple layers of paint without warping. Its acid-free nature means your watercolours will not discolour or yellow over time.
Practical use of this block
Thanks to the block structure, the paper stays flat while you paint, which is especially useful for wet techniques. With 10 sheets you have enough paper for a series of studies or experiments. Do make sure you use watercolour paint suitable for coarse paper, so you can make the most of the texture.
