What is a Bascetta star and when do you need these folding sheets?
A Bascetta star is a decorative three-dimensional star that you fold from square sheets of paper using a special origami technique. These stars are popular as Christmas decorations, party decor or as a creative craft project. You need these special folding sheets if you want to make a beautiful translucent star that lets light through.

Why the 150×150 mm size is perfect for beginners
The 150×150 mm size offers an ideal balance between ease of folding and the final result. This size is large enough to fold easily, even for people new to origami, but not so large that the star becomes bulky. With 32 sheets in the set, you have enough paper to make one complete star plus a few extra in case of mistakes while folding.

Transparent paper creates a unique light effect
The transparent 115 g/m² paper has the perfect thickness for stable folds without becoming too stiff. Thanks to its transparency, your Bascetta star takes on a special effect when light shines through it. The red colour gives a warm, festive look that creates atmosphere, especially during the dark winter months.

Includes a clear folding guide
With this set you receive a complete craft guide that explains step by step how to apply the Bascetta star folding technique. This guide is essential because the folding technique requires specific steps to correctly join all the parts into the final star shape.
