Ready to paint! These 100% cotton canvas panels are universally primed and suitable for oil, acrylic, gouache, tempera and alkyd paint. With 5 pieces in the set you always have sufficient stock for your creative projects.
When do you choose this product?
What are canvas panels and when do you use them?
Canvas panels are 100% cotton painting canvases glued onto acid-free cardboard. You use them for various painting techniques such as oil, acrylic, gouache, tempera and alkyd paint. These panels are ideal for artists who want to paint without the cost and hassle of a traditional stretched canvas.
Why these canvas panels?
These panels offer a pleasant working surface for studies, sketches and artworks. They are large enough for detailed work, yet compact enough to store and transport easily. You get 5 pieces in the pack, which is good value for regular practice or for creating a series of artworks.
Preparation and thickness specifications
These panels have a thickness of 3 mm and are glued over the edge, giving a neat and professional appearance. They are treated with a universal primer, so you can start painting straight away without having to prime them first. This saves time and ensures even paint absorption across the entire surface.
Practical storage and usage tip
Thanks to the cardboard backing, these panels are lighter than traditional stretched canvases, making them easy to stack and store. The acid-free cardboard base prevents discolouration over the long term. Store the panels flat in a dry place to prevent warping, and make sure they are not in direct sunlight during storage.
