What is foam board and when do you need it?
Foam board is a lightweight material with a foam core and a matt paper coating on both sides. You use it for presentations, displays, model making, school projects and creative work where you need a sturdy yet light base that is easy to work with.

Advantage of the matt paper coating
The matt paper coating on both sides makes foam board easy to work with. You can draw, write, glue and paint on it without the surface becoming shiny or showing fingerprints. Thanks to the light foam core, the material remains easy to cut and shape for your projects.

Practical tip for use
With 15 sheets in the pack, you have enough stock for several projects or a whole class. Use a sharp knife or Stanley knife to cut the foam board - the soft foam core cuts through easily. Store any remaining boards flat and dry to prevent warping.
