When do you need a base unit?
This Kerkmann base unit is the foundation of your archive storage when you are building a new shelving system. You need a base unit as a starting point for your first row of shelving or as a freestanding cupboard for smaller storage needs. The infinitely adjustable plug-in system makes assembly easy without tools.

Why choose these dimensions?
With dimensions of 750×600×2600 mm, this shelving unit offers space for 7 folder heights, which is ideal for A4 files and standard office archiving. The width of 75 cm and depth of 60 cm fit well in most office spaces without taking up too much floor area.

Sturdiness and load capacity
The light grey RAL 7035 metal furniture finish gives a neutral look that suits any office environment. Each shelf supports up to 80 kg, while the complete shelving bay can carry up to 500 kg. The height-adjustable shelves let you adapt the space to different archive materials.

Practical assembly and expansion
The infinitely adjustable plug-in system means you don't need any screws - the parts simply click together. The supplied back panel provides extra stability. Later you can extend the system with add-on units that attach to this base unit, allowing you to create long rows of archive cabinets.
