Surprise your colleagues with unique marbling effects on your desk accessories. Mix the 6 metallic colours as you like and work on wood, glass or paper, with a clear instruction guide included.
When do you choose this product?
What does marbling paint do and when do you use it?
Marbling paint has been specially developed for the tauchmarmer technique, in which you dip objects into water with floating drops of paint. This creates spontaneous, unique marble patterns that can never be repeated. You use this technique when you want to transform everyday objects into decorative pieces with an exclusive look.
Why choose metallic colours in this set?
This set contains six metallic shades: metallic red, metallic violet, metallic blue, metallic green, plus classic silver and gold. Metallic colours give your marbling extra depth and shine, making the result look more luxurious than with regular paint colours. The colours can be mixed with each other, so you can also create subtle intermediate shades.
Practical features of this marbling paint
Each glass bottle contains 20 ml of paint and is fitted with a dropper for controlled dosing. This prevents waste and gives you better control over your marbling pattern. The short drying time means you can work on quickly and don't have to wait long for your project to dry before you can use it.
Suitable for a variety of materials
You can use this marbling paint on a wide range of materials: wood, glass, plastic, paper, metal, earthenware, terracotta and polystyrene. This makes the set versatile for various creative projects, from decorating vases to personalising wooden objects. The enclosed instructions help you achieve the best results on each material.

Marbling Paint "Magic Marble", Metallic Colours Set
• 20 ml in glass
• with dropper insert
• short drying time
• colours can be mixed with each other
• for dip marbling
• Pack of 6 pieces, assorted in the colours 1 x each metallic red, metallic violet, metallic blue, metallic green, silver, gold, incl. instructions • Supplied in full packs only
Instructions for Marbling Paint "Magic Marble":
1. Dripping: Fill a tray in which the object can be fully submerged with water. Note: the tray can no longer be fully cleaned. Therefore, protect it with a plastic bag if necessary. Shake the paint briefly. Drip the marbling paint onto the water surface close to the surface.
2. Pulling the pattern: The more paint you drip on, the more intense the marbling colour will be. For polystyrene foam, use no more than 15 drops and a maximum of 4 colour shades. Immediately after dripping on the paint, pull the marbling pattern with a wooden stick. The ideal marbling result is achieved by using 2 to 3 colour shades.
3. Dipping: Place the object, e.g. a polystyrene foam heart, on a wooden stick. Slowly submerge the heart in the water, let it rest briefly and quickly pull it out again. To avoid a second layer of paint forming on the object, blow on the water surface before removing it, so the paint flows to the edge. Leave to dry. Depending on the surface of the object being marbled, the paint will be dust-dry after 15 to 30 minutes. Once fully dry, the objects can be washed.
4. Finished: Before the next marbling, carefully remove excess paint from the water surface with a sheet of paper (paper side). Remove paint residues to achieve an even distribution of the new paint. If heavily soiled, replace the water.
Creative tips:
- the order in which the colour shades are dripped on affects the marbling pattern: the first colour shade is pushed aside by the second, so the second colour shade stands out more strongly
- for single-colour marbling, use colourless paint and the desired colour shade
- when marbling, always work quickly, as otherwise a slightly dried paint film will form on the water surface
- close the paint immediately after use
- wearing gloves and an apron is recommended
- for textiles and fabrics, testing is recommended
Application examples:
- for marbling wood, glass, plastic, paper, metal, earthenware, terracotta or polystyrene foam
- for colouring blown-out Easter eggs or Christmas baubles

- Hobby crafters
