When do you need a compact pocket pen?
A pocket pen is ideal when you want a fully functional ballpoint that takes up little space in your pocket, bag or wallet. The LAMY pico is perfect for professionals who are often on the move, students with full backpacks, or anyone who wants a reliable pen always within reach without the bulk of a standard ballpoint.

Why choose the double-press mechanism?
The double-press mechanism of this pen means that with just one finger movement you can transform the compact pocket pen into a full-size ballpoint. This sets the pico apart from ordinary telescopic pens that require several actions. So you get the convenience of a small pen with the writing experience of a full-size ballpoint.

What does the dark blue lacquer finish mean?
The matt dark blue lacquer finish gives the pen a professional, discreet look that suits business environments. The matt surface prevents annoying reflections and fingerprints, so the pen keeps looking neat for longer. The dark blue colour is neutral enough for any occasion.

Practical tip about the included refill
The pen comes with a Compactmine M22 refill in black. This special compact refill is designed for the small body but delivers the same writing performance as a standard ballpoint refill. Keep the reference M22 safe, because when replacing it you need this specific compact refill type, not the standard LAMY refills.
