What is gouache paint and when do you use it?
Gouache paint is an opaque watercolour that is perfectly suited to creative projects where you want to create bright, solid colours. You use gouache when you want to paint with water as a thinning agent, but still want full coverage, unlike transparent watercolour paint.

Why choose primary blue in a large pack?
Primary blue is one of the three basic colours from which you can mix all other colours. This 1000 ml pack is ideal if you need a lot of blue or paint regularly. The large size means you won't run out of paint quickly and offers a better price per millilitre.

Suitable for young artists
This Lefranc & Bourgeois gouache paint is specially suitable for children aged 3 and over. The paint is safely formulated so that even young children can work with it under supervision. You can therefore use this paint for school projects, craft activities or whenever you want to paint at home with children.

Practical storage and usage tip
Store the paint at room temperature and make sure the lid is tightly closed to prevent it from drying out. You can thin gouache paint with water for lighter shades or use it thickly for full coverage. Thanks to the large pack, you have enough supply for multiple projects and can experiment with different mixing techniques.
