What is an alcohol marker and when do you use one?
An alcohol marker such as the LEFRANC BOURGEOIS Promarker is a professional drawing marker that works with alcohol-based ink. These markers are ideal for illustrations, sketches, graphic design and colouring work where you need an even colour distribution and quick drying time.

Why choose cool gray 1?
Cool gray 1 is a light grey shade that works perfectly as a base colour for shadows and transitions. This particular grey has a cool undertone, so you can create realistic shadows without your drawing taking on a warm or yellowish tint. It is an essential colour in any greyscale range.

The benefits of non-toxic alcohol-based ink
The alcohol base ensures the ink dries quickly and does not bleed through to other layers of paper. Because the ink is non-toxic, you can work safely indoors without worrying about harmful fumes. The alcohol-dye base also gives more intense colours than water-based markers.

Working practically with two different tips
This marker has two tips: a chisel tip for broad areas and a round tip for fine details. This allows you to colour large surfaces and do precision work with a single marker. Switching between tips is simply a matter of turning the marker around, which considerably speeds up your workflow while drawing.
