When do you choose this product?
What does a stability ball do at the office?
A stability ball such as the LEITZ Ergo Active replaces your office chair and activates your muscles while you sit. Your core muscles stay active to keep you balanced, which promotes better posture and fewer back complaints. This is ideal if you spend long days at your desk and want to move without leaving your workspace.
Why this 550 mm diameter size?
This ball is specifically designed for people with a height between 135 and 155 cm. The 550 mm diameter ensures that your hips sit slightly higher than your knees, which promotes the optimal sitting position. If you fall within this height range, you get the right support and posture.
Anti-roll function for safety
The great advantage of this stability ball is the anti-roll-away safety feature, which prevents the ball from rolling away when you stand up. This makes using it in the office much more practical and safer than a regular fitness ball. You can rely on its stability, even during quick movements.
Practical details and maintenance
The ball has a load capacity of 120 kg and comes complete with a hand air pump, plug remover and 2 screw-in stoppers. The removable fabric cover has a handle for transport and is washable, which is handy for hygiene in the office. The inner ball is phthalate-free, meaning no harmful plasticisers have been used.

Dex knows - user tips
Pump the ball up until it feels firm but still gives slightly under pressure, and let it rest overnight after inflating before you use it. This allows the material to settle into the pressure and prevents the ball from losing its shape too quickly.
