What does this privacy filter do?

A privacy filter is a thin overlay that you place on your laptop screen to prevent people beside or behind you from looking over your shoulder. At a side angle of 30 degrees, the screen appears dark to bystanders, while you, as the user directly in front of the screen, still see everything clearly. This makes the filter indispensable if you regularly work on trains, at airports, in open-plan offices or in other public environments.

Suitable for your 13.3-inch laptop with a 16:10 aspect ratio

This Leitz filter is specifically designed for screens with a diagonal of 33.78 cm (13.3 inches) and an aspect ratio of 16:10. It is important to check the aspect ratio of your screen before ordering, as 16:10 and 16:9 have different heights at the same diagonal. A filter that does not fit precisely will not fully cover your screen.

Blue light filter and scratch protection included

In addition to privacy protection, this screen also filters blue light, which helps reduce eye strain during prolonged screen work. The anti-reflective coating reduces distracting reflections from ambient light. The filter also protects the screen itself against scratches and other damage, which is handy if you take your laptop with you often.

Attachment and touchscreen compatibility

The filter comes with adhesive strips and holder tabs, so you can choose how to attach it: permanently with the strips or removably using the tabs. The filter is touchscreen-compatible, meaning you can continue to use your screen's touch functionality without the filter causing any interference.
